Squashed is a hilarious book for teens. Ellie, the main character, struggles to grow her potentially prize-winning pumpkin, Max. She must go up against the ones who doubt her as well as the infamous pumpkin thieves haunting her town. I would recommend this book to all teens.

Uglies, by Scott Westerfeld

In this futuristic story, 15 year old Tally Youngblood is a normal teenager, well, in Uglyville that is. While awaiting her 16th birthday, when surgery will transform her into a Pretty, she meets and befriends Shay, an Ugly who defies authority. After a while spent with Shay, Tally suddenly realizes that being a Pretty might not be so nice after all. But when Shay runs away to the outside world and Tally is left being asked all the questions, she has to decide whether to betray her friend, or not become a Pretty at all.

Have anyone seen the current issue of “Town Crossings” news paper?? If not pick up a copy and have a look. TAB got most of the front page. Our 15 minutes of fame. lol I'll try to put the pic up on the blog as soon as I can scan it.
