The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Gothgirl
By Barry Lyga

Fanboy may seem like your average 15 year old boy, but in reality he's different. For one thing he has a major obsession for comic books and their original copies all in "mint" condition. On top of all that he doesn't really have many friends in high school and the comic books don't give him too many popularity points. When Fanboy meets Gothgirl, aka Kyra, his life takes a different turn. Kyra is your typical goth girl. She's always decked out in all black and is pretty tough physically and mentally. Fanboy is so relieved he's met a new friend who shares his love for comic books and hatred for all of the tough jocks that always beat him up in gym class. But Kyra has some secrets of her own. They could help Fanboy make his dreams come true or change his life completely.

Eclipse, by Stephenie Meyer

This is the third book in a truly spectacular series. It was released August 7th, and is widely famed as the next "Harry Potter." The preceding books, Twilight and New Moon have sparked a huge following, and Eclipse is sure to please. I strongly recommend this book to all teenage girls.

Bella is a normal teenage girl, going to a new high school in Forks, Washington. That is, normal until she falls in love with a vampire. Edward is the perfect guy, a complete gentleman, except for one thing, his thirst for Bella's blood. These books are amazing!

You haven't lived until you've read Twilight.

Twisted
By Laurie Halse Anderson

Tyler Miller seemed like you average teenage guy. That is until he drew graffiti on the walls of his school and got busted for it. When he gets sentenced to hard summer labor working outside, he returns to school with many extra pounds of muscle and height. When he returns to school, he no longer is the quiet nerdy guy people took him to be before. Bethany, the queen bee of his school and the girl he has been crushing on forever finally notices him. The downside to this is that Bethany's father is his dad's boss. And since trouble is something that Tyler is having a hard time avoiding lately, that jeopardizes his father's career. This also makes Tyler's relationship with his dad much worse. I thought this book was really good. I would recommend it to others, especially the guys.

Kiss and Blog
By Alyson Noel

Winter and Sloane were best friends until the glamor of popularity forced them apart. Both girls had hopes of ditching their nerdy and so called "loser" past. In their sophomore year in high school they would walk with the in crowd and finally be popular. They both made a promise that the first person to make it in would leave room for the other person. When Sloane makes it and Winter doesn't, Sloane breaks this promise. Winter makes some new friends but can't help but envy Sloane and her new social status. To vent her anger and frustration, Winter decides to make a blog and post all the stupid things Sloane did, but changing the names of course. Her new blog gets more attention than she planned. It became so popular that even a publisher contacts her and wanted to make it a book and a movie. Winter has to decide the right thing to do and whether going that far to hurt Sloane is really worth it or not. I really enjoyed this book. I read it in about 2 days. It was such a fast read. I definitely recommend it to others.

This book is the sequel to The Hunter's Moon, and is sure to please. Both books are based off of Irish/Celtic Mythology, but resemble more YA fiction novels. I strongly recommend both this book and its predecessor, which are both superb.
Description from Amazon:
After the death of her twin sister Honor, Laurel is haunted by dreams of giant eagles, fairies, and other realms. She finds out that in order to save her Honor, and all of Faerie, she must battle impossible odds and evil faeries.
by Annette Curtis Klaus
Couldn't find a good picture of the book.
Spurred on by werewolves in other books I have read, I decided to try this. I was very pleased with the plot. This book is about a pack of werewolves trying to live in society, while fleeing the mistakes of their past. The book is about Vivian, and her story. This book has sparked quite a following, though I was a bit disappointed with the ending. I would recommend it for teen girls.
