Set in modern times, this book centers around a seventeen year-old girl named Gwen Cook. When she was 10, she slept-walk onto a beach at midnight, and almost drowned. She was saved by a young man, with strange, exotic features who spoke a language she could not understand. The scandal and gossip caused by the incident prompted her family to move away.
Now it's seven years later, and Gwen is returning to her childhood hom for the summer. Will the gossip continue, or will she discover something beyond her wildest dreams?

I recommend this book for teen girls. I give it 4 1/2 out of 5 stars, a nice quick read.
