Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz

Blue Bloods is a novel about vampires, conflict, mystery and romance. I read it after having read Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, a book I am obsessed with. While it did not live up to Mrs. Meyer's novel, it was a good read. This book takes a new look at vampires, with a bit unorthodox concept of them. I would recommend it, though it was not one of the most brilliant novels I have read.
