Harry Potter Midnight Release Parties

Night of Friday, July 20th
Book to be released at 12:01am, July 21st

In light of the release of the final instalment of the famed Harry Potter series, many book stores are opening their doors and allowing customers to purchase Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at the stroke of midnight. These parties are taking place everywhere, including the nearby Borders in Peabody, and the Barnes and Noble across the street. Most venues offer free giveaways, costume competitions, games and the like. For specifics, such as times, visit the individual vendors' websites and find a store near you. Other smaller bookstores, such as Andover Bookstore, are also holding their own smaller-scale celebrations.
